B JOLLY FOUNDATION INITIATIVES
We are seeking sponsorship for the B Jolly Foundation Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Wheaton Park. The Walk-A-Thon will take place from 9-12 noon and is a 1.3 mile circuit.
The B Jolly Foundation is committed to creating activities that lead to a more inclusive world for special needs young adults! The need is great. Wheaton has 700 special needs young adults, and there are approximately 70,000 special needs young adults throughout Chicagoland.
We offer many fun activities for this community, such as tree planting ceremonies and pizza parties. But we are pursuing 2 bigger dreams right now, and this is where you can support this very worthy cause!
BIG DREAM #1
To create a café where special needs young adults can learn employable skills and feel a sense of responsibility. Everyone needs to feel valued. Running a café provides the opportunity to earn money, as well as helps young adults to engage in many skill sets, such as socialization, communication, cooking, serving, and the many aspects of running a restaurant.
BIG DREAM #2
To partner with an existing nonprofit(s) in Chicago in support of the creation of a community living environment for special needs young adults. The emphasis will be on the development of social skills, communication skills, activities of daily living, cooking skills, understanding how to take public transportation, recreation, and other skills related to semi-independent living.

Annual picnic also provides an opportunity to meet in person.
All those who participate in the Great B Jolly Tree Planting project are invited to join our monthly zoom call to meet one another. Talk about their trees, socialize, and make new friends.
Cooking club to share recipes to utilize the produce is a fun part of the zoom meeting.
Special Young adults who are inspired to be part of our Ambassadors for Trees can join this Fun B Jolly Social Group.
In a fun activity, beautiful baby fruit trees are "adopted" and planted by our Young Special Ambassadors. Their hands dig the rich soil. From bud to blossom to fruit, life is nurtured.
Each fruit tree is adorned with a plaque, indicating their commitment. Your child is responsible for caring for their little tree and of course, will receive the bounty of their harvest.
This is YOUR ADOPTED TREE.
- You get a Certificate of Adoption.
- We provide instructions for the care of the tree.
